Jupiter Real Estate


Jupiter got its name from Rio Jove. The British anglicized the Jove which was roman for Jupiter. It is now composed of communities ranging from Jupiter Farms (mostly 1.25 acre home sites), The Shores (winding smaller homesites with sidewalks and more uniform houses), golf estates, waterfront condos and old frame houses. The oldest building is the Jupiter lighthouse, over 100 years old. Jupiter Florida is known for its school system and is a favorite of families. Jupiter has miles of ocean beaches (including a beach where you can walk your dog), great parkland and some of the best restaurants.  The beach front developments are mostly in Jupiter between A1A and route 1 and the real estate there is fairly developed.  With a few high rise real estate projects most are single family or town home.  Real estate further inland includes some great golf clubs such as Jonathans Landing and Admirals Cove.

Palm Beach Gardens Real Estate
 

Only invented by John D. MacArthur in 1959 (a rich landowner and magnate) Palm Beach Gardens was to be a city to raise a  family and earn a living. He wanted a garden community with open spaces and nice landscaping. Today Palm Beach Gardens is more than landscaped with multimillion dollar golf communities and one of the highest average home prices in the state.  With new shopping at Legacy Place, Midtown at the Gardens and Downtown at the Gardens and minutes to the beaches Palm Beach Gardens is a great place to live.  Real estate in Palm Beach Gardens is typically a new development with lush landscaping and a very upscale feel.

Having been a resident here for years Florida real estate has a lot to offer. 

Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter and Palm Beach are all very wealthy.  We are a fast growing business and residential area with over 190 golf courses, a vibrant downtown West Palm Beach and many cultural events including theater at the Kravis center, museums, and a number of live music venues.  For those that choose to eat out (see our restaurant map on the links page) the area has all levels of restaurants.   Live music can be found for free both in public spaces and in cabarets. Take the children to peanut island for some snorkeling or charter a boat and catch some fish.  Walk miles on Juno Beach or join the joggers in the mornings.  Shakespeare in the park on the ocean in Jupiter.... Children can take sailing lessons and compete at the palm beach sailing club.   We could be considered a college town with a number of universities and colleges.   Sunfest our music festival on the water in west palm.  If you are buying Jupiter Florida real estate or Palm Beach Gardens Florida real estate you will be surprised at the amount of entertainment available.  A home in Jupiter or a Home in Palm Beach Gardens could be as little as $200,000 or as much as $7,000,000 (higher on request.....).  A nice Jupiter house would cost $400,000 (about average).  

The condo market is taking off on Singer Island (million dollar island)- and in downtown West Palm Beach.  Palm Beach Gardens real estate is developing with downtown in the gardens: a shopping, movie theater, and entertainment district.  Jupiter Florida real estate is developing Riverwalk and of course Abacoa.  If you prefer non gated communities you should look at the older parts of Palm Beach Gardens and North Palm Beach.   If you are shopping for a golf course community remember that most have an equity fee from 20,000 to over 300,000 dollars.  And if you are on a budget there are some condo communities in West Palm Beach that are a very good buy. For the most expensive homes look in Frenchmans Reserve, frenchmans creek or Ballenisles.   For midpriced golf communities visit Jonathans landing (has a marina too).  For golf with a boat try admirals cove.

These upper priced communities did not have the foreclosure problems that some of the lessor priced properties did.  So in Old Palm, Frenchmans and Ballenisles don't expect to see a massive reduction in price. 

We have several areas of real estate in palm beach gardens that are older homes. we have some older homes with boat docks in juno beach real estate and juno isles real estate.  Coming soon is jupiter country club.  For the middle class we have the isles real estate in palm beach gardens and oaks east.  real estate in magnolia bay in palm beach gardens is gated.
